Welcome! My name is Rachel Monzo and I am currently a Junior at Grand Valley State University. I grew up in a daycare home for the first eleven years of my life, so I was always surrounded by children, and feel blessed to have found my love for children early on. I started tutoring students in my math classes in middle school and it was then that I realized I wanted to become a teacher. Throughout high school, I continued to tutor students of all ages (even some college algebra students). To this day, the best compliment I have ever received was from a fellow student who told me that I should become a teacher or a principal so he could send his future kids to my classroom or school. My goal is to create an engaging and enjoyable atmosphere for my students, especially for the subjects that they tend to dislike, and inspire my students to want to learn just as my teachers have inspired me.
This website is a way for me to put all of my resources in one place and also to share them with others. I am just getting started on my teaching journey and am looking forward to continuing my learning as I move forward. Feel free to contact me at [email protected] with any comments or questions. Enjoy!

“I'm more interested in arousing enthusiasm in kids than in teaching the facts. The facts may change, but that enthusiasm for exploring the world will remain with them the rest of their lives.” ― Seymour Simon
